[MD] Music

Greetings,

Some years ago I found a book published at the turn of the last century. It
was about The Ring. It was broken down into the four operas and the major
leitmotifs within each act. At the top was the music followed by a
description of what it represented. I think it was printed on very good
paper because it was still in good condition. Later, when I was studying
bookbinding, I re-covered the book in a beautiful, blue leather, with an
embossed pictorial-symbol of a Valkyrie on the cover. That symbol has also
been tattooed on my hip. The game is fun to play, or dance.

Time being an issue, there is a CD, "The Ring Without Words". It is about
an hour and is symbolic of all the opera when one really needs a fix. It
certainly highlights the music which very beautiful.

No need to reply, I just thought I'd mention it.

Marsha
