An individual coerced by society from material ownership is a slave.

[Arlo]
As are individuals coerced by society to not swim in lakes because "someone
else owns them".

Indeed, when no one owns the lake, everyone is free to use it. When one person
owns it, only that person is free to use it.

So being prevented by society from using a gun to shoot people who want to swim
in "your lake" does not make one a slave. "Aw gee, I can't shoot the people who
dare swim in the lake that I've declared is mine... I am a slave"... Right.

The "slaves" are the people who sell their freedom for a shiny bauble and a
gold-plated trinket. They think owning things means being free, as they tread
around the big "No Trespassing" signs posted all over the lakes and forests and
fields...

Is it "I'm free, I own a lake" or "We're free, no one owns the lake"? The
second, of course.
