I used to walk around that campus all the time. Lived there for a couple years back when I was 22, so I can well imagine the free hug scene. Wish I could feel that comfortable with strangers, comfortable enough to accept a free hug. Was he wearing a tee-shirt that said, "FREE HUGS"? That's kind of how it was when I was there except the tee-shirts offered free mustache rides. I never took him up on the offer though. I was always just too up-tight for that. Hopefully, I've grown since then and maybe next time I'll take that ride.
