[Ian]
Phew, I shouldn't have worried the irony might be lost.

[Arlo]
I figure Ham's just all bottled up because he could never understand
the humor in "Chico and the Man". He vents this frustration by
painting images of denizens of amoral darkies charging over our hills
and raping our precious little white girls while singing "La
Cucharacha" and swigging cheap tequila. Platt's similar problems with
the dreaded "negro" stem likely from the same inability to understand
the humor of Richard Pyror. But while they go off and build their
White Only Bunker somewhere in the back country of the mind and
prepare for the cyclical onslaughts of varies dark-skinned mongrols,
we are left with only irony and humor to assuage our embarrassment
over this idiocy.

[Ron]
don't you get it? without a "them" there is no "us".

[Arlo]
The semi-influential L.A. punk band Channel 3 sung back 1984's opus
to Raygunism "Airborne", "in every world, in every age, there's a
'they'..." There most certainly is. Indeed, many have argued that we
"moderners" define ourselves solely by "who is our enemy, who do we
fear, and who is gonna destroy our way of life". An identity of
ubiquitous resistance to the "They du jour". There is always an
enemy, always a Boogeyman, always a mongrel horde "just over the
hill" waiting to rain down decay and destruction and amoral nihilism.
By the way, I've heard that everytime Ham writes "nihilism" in an
post, an angel gets stupider.

Now while Waldorf and Statler continue their moronic tirade against
The Evil Academy's celebration of amorality which is destroying
civilization and making us Hispanic, I will return to my
Salma-daydreams and few more Dos Equis.

And, please, join me in celebrating Asereje!
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFzyYYZsxGc) Somewhat dated, but
always fun! (Geez, now I want to go back to Mexico!) For those of you
learning Spanish (no one will be speaking English in America in a few
years anyways...) there is a "sing-along" version of the song here
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XubVpeq4E20)

Now I do have to stop, that song makes me too happy. And no happiness
allowed when the mongrel hordes are soooo close....

Asta luego!
