Greetings Ian,

Does an 'excluded middle' have characteristics?  I'm sure in the past you've 
explained your affinity for them, but maybe you could summarize that 
explanation.  Or is it just a method of ignoring contradictions?  I'm 
pleading ignorant and would like your help.
