[MD] Quality sacrificed to equality

Hi All,

Those interested in education and its current failings might like to read an
editorial in the Times of London:

Entitled "Equality has made dunces of children," the author criticizes
educators' "Obsession with equality and social engineering . . ." that has
resulted in " . . .a school system that suits almost nobody . . ."

I think the author's critique applies as well to society at large. Leftist
calls for redistribution of wealth for the sake of equality, i.e, social
justice, will prove as debilitating to society as it has to education.

Let us never sacrifice Quality to equality.
