Metaphilosophy (from Greek
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_%28language%29> meta
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meta> + philosophy
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophy> ) is the study of the subject
and matter, methods <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophical_method>
and aims of philosophy <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophy> . It is
the "philosophy of philosophy". The recursive study of philosophy is an
integral part of the philosophical enterprise because it is intertwined
with all branches of philosophy as is logic
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logic> or epistemology
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epistemology> . Most metaphilosophy is
part of either the formation or the criticism of a philosophical school,
but some philosophers devote their time almost exclusively to
metaphilosophy such as Stephen Toulmin
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Toulmin> , Richard Rorty
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Rorty> and some continental
philosophers <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continental_philosophy> .

Perhaps the "Meta-philosophy of Quality metaphysics" is a more
descriptive term for what MOQ does.

MQM?

Thoughts?
