There is an unpublished paper I did last semester that would fill the gap you're talking about here, I think. It also relies heavily on Dewey and focuses on the connection between aesthetic experience and everyday experience. Maybe its time I sent that to Ant as well. Anyway, I think you're right to say the paper is lacking in that respect. I'd already covered that area for a class with the same teacher and there were limits on length and on the topic too. So all I can say is that there are reasons for leaving that aspect out of it.
