Hi Marsha and all,
Yes, another excellent piece from "In Our Time"
My own personal story .... the first person to ever turn me on to the
"beauty of nature" was Jacob Bronowski who did a major BBC TV Documentary
series in the 1970's "The Ascent of Man". He used "Music of the Spheres" as
the title of his piece on the history of cosmology - through the renaissance
and the enlightenment. Left an impression on me to this day.
BTW that series is available on DVD, and I watched it right through again
recently after I was reminded of it when blogging about Lisa Jardine, who is
Jacob Bronowski's daugher.
