Your potted account of ZMM quite understandably refers to individual development.
One may consider it to be philosophology.
However, the thought experiment under consideration is concerned with the moq, and the moq is concerned with more than individual development: it is concerned with the evolution of all static patterns.

As such, individuals may, at some point in the continued evolution of all static patterns, cease to exist.

Do you wish to continue restating what you have read and believe you understand, or would you consider participating in some original thinking?
