That's just it Chris, is Pirsig promoting a new metaphysic or just
A more careful view of the one we have. MoQ can not replace SOM
But it may alter SOM. SOM as intellect works, in my opinion, on
A culturally specific level. I'm with Bo up until he poses MoQ
As a dualism, which I have yet to address him on. As well as a few other
Ideas I have. What shakes things up on the effectiveness issue
Is that MoQ is a radical metaphysic. It addresses the value awareness
Of the individual. Definitely not a one size fits all proposition.
It forces you to examine your own value system.
