I was browsing this website today, and lots of interesting links in

I think the next 20-30 years will be very exciting for genetics and
gene research.

While I have not completed Hancock's new book, its premise is
fascinating, especially in light of the peyote experience in which
Pirsig saw that light that would become the MOQ. Induced visions are
common among indigenous peoples across the globe, and most ancient
cultures believed that one could transcend (or cross-over) to this
"other realm" for a host of reasons, both personal and for the
benefit of mankind.
