I have given up on Ham in the dialogue sense, but from this it 
sounds/looks as if you understand what his Essentialism says and 
how id differs from - first - SOM (I thought we had some common 
ground there, but that possibility was soon eliminated) and if so  
how it differs from the MOQ. His book will probably be as 
forbidding as his posts (full of learned phrases). So if you feel for 
it please give me a summary of the said points.

The MOQers are more varied than most "bunches" I know, so it 
may not be easy to determine the said difference from the MOQ, 
but as Ham is the sole essentialist his position may be clarified.
