[Platt]
You certainly have shown you don't understand the MOQ.

[Arlo]
Maybe. What does everyone else think? Is "Quality" a "Quali-god" with
volition and intent?

[Platt]
Quote from Pirsig: " Neither is there a quarrel between the
Metaphysics of Quality and the "teleological" theories which insist
that life has some
purpose."

Now what is there about these words you don't understand?

[Arlo had said about these telelogical theories]
So, are all these correct? That would mean "purpose" is completely
relative doesn't it?

[Arlo now]
Which of these words don't you understand? Are all these teleological
theories correct? Is purpose relative?

And here is something else to think about. If, as you say,
Quali-god's recent destruction of Burma was planned and carried out
as part of some larger plan, what does that say about free will? Were
those people "expendable" in the eyes of Quali-god? And, if Quali-god
orders and plans the cosmos as you suggest, was the meeting of your
wife part of that plan? Were you just a unwilling piece of
Quali-god's plan? Is everything that happened to you part of
Quali-god's plan, that it enacts with volition and intent? Or does
Quali-god only order and willfully manipulate the cosmos apart from "man"?
