Hi Ian
Certainly there is more to experience than metaphor,
our experience is rich with values, feelings, sensations,
intuitions, passions, excesses, possibilties, memory traces,
impossibilities, etc, but making sense of
it, discussing it, co-operating, requires the metaphoric
and differential systems of language.
