Krim, I don't discount AI. I say when it arrives it will be "as real" as any other kind of intelligence. That will be very soon (in evolutionary / Moore's law timescales) even if not as soon as the hype from Weinberg et al. Artifice and illusion are just matters of perspective. Ian
