Of course "probability field" is a great metaphor. Not only does it 
allow for the variance in affordances offered by the MOQ's levels, 
but within that level we see that the "probability" of an outcome 
nears 100% as the time index approaches "the present moment" but 
diminishes the further one moves into the "future". It also 
contextualizes "free", as our behavior is certainly constrained on 
various levels (no matter how non-deterministic I want to say the 
cosmos is, I am not "free" to morph into an eagle).

I would add that probability also diminishes as one moves backwards into the
"past". Our memories and recordings of the past give us the illusion of
fixity. But they are replications of settled probabilities. If one were
actually able to move backwards in time, one would confront to same quantum
uncertainties and problems of entropy (in reverse) that we encounter moving
forward it time. 

It is the illusion of memory that makes the past seem fixed and confuses
folks like Ham who see space/time as static.
