The article I read suggested nothing amiss in evolutionary theory. Rather
than challenging the theory, it confirms and expands it. It said these guys
at Princeton discovered a new kind of static latch that promotes genetic
stability. Not only that but they made their discovery by applying
complexity and control theory to the behavior of certain protein chains.
What they found was a previously unknown feedback system in cells. This
further illustrates the beauty of a theory that works on everything from
stars to storms to streams to salmon. 

Rather than a final straw this discovery is just another brick in the wall.
Teleology is tale for children and religious fanatics.
