instead of holding to a static paradigm as a base of reference.

Self relecting systems evolve with expereince rather than holding to a set pattern for verification
which nullifies any pattern which is not defined within it's laws of operation.

Pragmatism the root of the word you used, operates as a self reflecting system.

I like what you've written here.  When I first joined this forum,
someone mentioned "creating a life using the code of art".  I thought
that was the most wonderful statement I'd ever heard.  A fifth level
as 'code of art' is as RMP has created it.

If you mean that some of this stuff on the MoQ_Discuss, trying to make sense
of Pirsig's way of thinking  has turned into a purely academic exercise with
absolutely no practical use...I completely agree with you!
