SA: This is more than WallStreet. This has to do with WallStreet being embedded deep into this culture and when WallStreet is effected, we will feel this collapsing tower too. There is a power element here too. I still think about the absolute power that is still in the bailout bill that the U.S. Treasury Secretary seeks. You posted here on that. I still think about the calculated precaution to bring a military brigade back to the U.S., ah, today actually. Today was the date they were supposed to be here or coming back here. This is about military troops being in over 150 countries.
For one, let's think about this, the first presidential debate was to be about national security. This economic crisis is so big that national security, meaning military troops in over 150 countries, became not as important as this military presence, the Iraq War, the War in Afganistan, and the Korean War (yes, that is still on-going). Do you really think Health Care, Education, and jobs are that significant anymore? They are. I think they are. But now they have to be related to the economy. They have to show how they are integral to the economy. Everything has to be compared to the economy in gov't actions. Even national security in the debate kept coming back, relating itself to the economy.
