Ham:
Hayek was writing here of congressional bureaucrats trying to chart a
"planned economy". He foresaw in the last century that socialism (Marxism)
and the nationalization of a financial system would destroy free enterprise
and lead to fascism. That's exactly what is being demonstrated in the
proposal now going back to the House for a final vote. Surely a democratic
nation that allows its federal government to borrow $700+ billion to bailout
failed banks and fiscal institutions is on "the road to serfdom."

Your so spot on here, so... so... so spot on. The federal gov't,
sad thing of all this, isn't even borrowing this money. There is no money.
It's all based on credit now. It's getting more loans. It's called opening a
derivative account. What this means, is the gov't is doing what financial institutions
have been doing. Derivative accounts are accounts that borrow money from already existing
loans and credits. It's a way to market loans and credits and make people
believe that these loans and credits are worth something. So you get people to give
you money or other loans to place value on these loans and credits. When you get
people to invest in loans and credit accounts it means you are doing a derivative.
So it's a system based on loans taken out and investing them into more loans. Loans upon loans upon
loans upon loans upon loans upon loans... debt upon debt upon debt upon debt upon debt
It's all worthless. The worth is given by the people who believe that that debts
are worth something. That's a hollow value. A vaccum of value. A system based not any real values.
It is immoral.
