Agree. By living off the land I presume you mean that you own the land, 
i.e., you believe in private property.

    It's not only about who's land is who.  In the country, neighborhoods allow 
you to hunt in their woods.  If you mean by owning your own land, that the govt' 
should stop taxing it (property taxes), then I'm with you.  Sales tax is a better way 
to fairly tax people.  It's also called the fair tax.  You want something that costs 
a lot and you have the money to buy it, then you get taxed.  You're homeless, but 
come across money and buy something, you're taxed.  If you don't want to buy 
anything then your not taxed.  If events get into a crisis or you need to save 
money and you need to revert to living off the land, then you can without being 
forced to pay taxes.  If you want to start your own business or sell something of your 
making, farmed food, wood, etc..., then you can without being taxed.  So you are givin' a 
better birth into owning your own business.  Once people choose to buy something, 
then they are also choosing to pay the tax.
    Glad to hear that somebody agrees with this and how money needs to be backed by 
gold, silver, and/or other metals.
    Both of these decentralizes power from the gov't back to the people.
