Not really wanting to put too fine a point on it but this "great" America
hasn't seen, heard or felt the last of it yet and I am absolutely certain
you know what I am talking about.

   I do.  Unfortunately, I do.  The spiraling is in motion, and 
it seems this effort by gov'ts and banks to try to add order 
to this degeneration is really control.  All their plans=control.  They 
will gain more of this control.  It's going to get really, really, messy.

Thanks Woods for drawing my attention to this. I am in the process of
recovering.
Latest reports from 'my'  country, Holland, is that people see their savings
"evaporate" . I just hope that when I return I have a little of my savings
left which isn't much so I can't lose much and am not worried.

    Thanks for letting me know about what's happening in Holland.  I'm 
really interested in what is happening in other countries.  Please everybody, 
please be careful.  
    I met some people from Holland while in the university years ago.  I dated 
somebody from Holland, but she had to go back home.  It was tough, but fun.  
The dating was more a friendship.  What I remember most about them was their 
joyous dancing and singing that spontaneously came out of nowhere.  They sung this 
one song numerous times.  It went like this:

   "laaaa, lalalala, laaa, lalalala"  on and on, while at the same time they put their 
arms over each others shoulders in a circle and jumped up and down.  They 
had a very strong, joyous spirit.

    Do you know this dance and song?

Why this concern for the man with the axe in Norway???!!!
It's the white collar guys, the ferrari's, the rolls royces.,the double
story houses, the tinted windows, the swimming pools. The tons of butter and
wine we have.
Why pick on the poor bloke with the faulty muffler or the one with the
scruffy shit on.
The quality stuff that is deliberately held back because the time is not
right economically ( meaning we cannot optimally grab our profits from
this).

   I'm glad to hear this.  You are truly a moral, quality person.  You know where 
good values are.

Andre:
This really is a low quality time and I agree with Pirsig that we should not
assume that every human being is born "good" . This is naive and he is
correct.
But I do think that there are more good people walking around on this
planet than bad people who are ,in their self righteous. fucked up selfish
fucking biologically based patterns of greed dictating the subsistence
levels of millions of people.
Africa is starving once again!!!
It is a tragedy 1000 times worse than 9/11. Shame shame shame!!!

    HEAR!  HEAR!  We need people to stand up in non-violent ways.  The word 
needs to get out.  Wake up everybody.  The take-over is happening!  Values will 
be immortalized even more.  I just heard that the world leaders, the G7, meeting in 
the U.S. now and tomorrow are thinking about closing the world markets and draw 
up new global markets rules and plans.  All in secret I wouldn't doubt, behind closed 
doors.  That part isn't that terrible, but will fear and power intermix in this 
global change.  Undoubtedly.  They are meeting at Camp David in the U.S. tomorrow 
to discuss this.

I really think that Pirsig has given us a rational, intellectual, moral
argument to be absolutely ruthless in our condemnation of this behaviour
and  way of thinking. Just to say that "He thinks in SOM patterns and
therefore didn't know better" is no excuse and reminds me of this one "Wir
haben es nicht gewust"!! Fucking bullshit!!!

   YEAH YOUR CORRECT!!!!!!  I'M WITH YOU.  I really haven't thought this way, but 
now that I think about it.  Your right.  Just cause they think in SOM isn't an excuse.  VALUES,
VALUES, VALUES, MORALS, MORALS, MORALS, QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY!!!!!
   I'm blowing the conch shell!!!!!!!!
