[MD] in defence of platt

hiya,
i think platt's (somewhat biased) championing of the free market 
is important. a free market is a good idea, and we should have one....but a free market cannot exist when transnational corps muscle the little guys off the pitch can it now?

what would a free market actually look like?
do we need transnational corporations? why?
 
maybe a free market would look like a free market!!!!
you know like the markets i go to to do my shopping:
stallholders, bringing their produce etc and selling it with a minimized middleman factor.....just a thought

i am off to the market (underneath the huge spreading fig trees, by the river in west end) to buy bananas, apples, spuds and a wee coffee perhaps....if you guys ever in brisvegas i highly recommend a visit.
