Your quoting Charlie Sheen was too subtle for me, does it mean that
the least probable theory is the said one?

Then the trite bashing of global economy. Economy has not been
sustainable since the hunter/garner era, already the introduction of
agriculture meant non-sustainability and to speak about such things at
the present stage is far out. Even if energy can be renewable and
metal and the other resources recycled there is always the "entropy"
factor, and what's a few thousand years in this scenario?
No, there's no turning back, we better expand the economy to a
universal one. My dream is cultivating the planet Mars to make it
inhabitable, bringing in raw material from the moon, catching a metal
asteroid or a comet to "water" Mars... etc. in the best Jules Verne,
Isaac Asimov and Arthur Clarke style. My nightmare is the present
pessimistic trend preventing space exploration as too resource
demanding, making humanity earth-locked and if not succumbing from
a too narrow "cage" then surely from hemp ;-)
