And to the degree you are taxed on your income, you are a slave - forcibly
denied from possessing the fruits of your labor.
[Arlo]
So are you advocating freedom or only "lesser slavery"?
[Platt]
The income tax is a low quality social pattern designed to redistribute wealth
on the Marxist principle of "From each according to his ability, to each
according to his need."
[Arlo]
And to pay for wars Platt supports, it seems. Oh, and roads. Err.. libraries,
coast guard, the court system, police, embassies, departments like weights and
measure and geographic surveying, not to mention maintaining and recording
deeds, citizenship records, protecting public forests and parks...
Taxation can be too much, of course, and spent inappropriately, topics for good
discussion, but ridiculous statements like the above (unless you've recanted
and are calling for an end to all taxation period- how would you pay for the
army if you did?) demonstrate nothing but a pandering to moronic squalking
points.
