Marsha:
I suggest reading Jiddu Krishnamurti. He was being groomed by the
Theosophical Society, and left it. Basically, Krishnamurti said
don't believe him or anybody else, but find out for yourself.
If you need that kind of music to sell an idea it's probably not
worth much on its own.

woods:
And birds sing while I talk with somebody outside, oooh. The music's
good. I wouldn't get caught up with the music as being the pivot as
to if it's truth or not.
Krishnamurit left... zeitgeitst likes Theosophical Society, maybe we
ought to leave zeitgeist behind too. I guess that's what your saying.

Marsha:
Zeitgeist is a movie. It's presenting ideas, not truth.

woods:
And a movement. It seems your being naive. It wants to make political
influence, though they advocate they want to get rid of politics. In my
understanding politics is a society, any group of people, that share a
culture and have agendas. They are a society. They have agendas.
Sure it's presenting ideas, but have you ever heard Peter Joseph
that came up with zeitgeist. It's not just ideas. It's a movement Marsha.
A cult if you will. I was just posting an opposing view to zeitgeist in
this forum due to it being thrown around in here without much thought
as to what it's all about. I watched zeitgeist. I liked it. I thought it
had some good ideas. Then I researched into opposing views of
zeitgeist, hey like any good moq scientist, and discovered there's some
real opposition to this movement. I wanted to know why. I just don't watch
the movie and think hey it's cool. I wanted to know more about what
these people are all about. Yeah, these people, and they are being influenced
by zeitgeist in growing numbers. I just thought I'd see what the hype
was all about and then find out why other people oppose it.
I'd thought you'd be a bit more skeptical.
This is a big new hype and with the Part Two of zeigeist just coming out
this past September. So I'd thought I'd show an opposing view of this
cult. I say cult, because if there is no opposing view and people just
feel it's good, then that's not helpful. So maybe it's something intellectual
and will take off and be good. But let's not be naive.

Here's the zeitgeist movement website:

I'm not putting this out there to gain a discussion, if people want to, that's
good. I'm putting this out there because I know how powerful zeitgeist has
become and a little skepticism doesn't hurt.
