Sorry Marsha, I forgot something,

I think the difference between Picasso and Matisse is that the former always
wanted to make a statement and force it on you...Matisse just showed you
something.

Picasso was brilliant, don't get me wrong but he sometimes wanted you to
work real hard at what he was trying to get at...which is fine.
Matisse was much gentler... he just invited you to experience.

Does this make sense.?
