[Marsha]
But besides, SA is NOT this or that. She/He is an an ever-changing,
collection of overlapping, interrelated, inorganic, biological,
social and intellectual, static patterns of value.... From
nano-second to the next nano-second there is absolutely no
consistency. Any consistency is illusion.

[Arlo asked]
Would you still feel as if Heather lied?

[Marsha]
Yes.

[Arlo]
Makes no sense to me, Marsha.

If "SA" is an ever-changing, collection of overlapping,
interrelated... patterns of value" with only the illusion of
consistency, then why would this be a lie? Why, if Heather really and
fully believes herself to be a female, would you're learning she has
male parts change your relationship with her? Again, what if she had
those parts removed years ago? Is she a woman then?

I'd gather you think of "Julia" as a lie and of "Mark" as the "real
person" despite her absolute self-identity as a female named Julia?
You may want to dismiss these questions, Marsha, and I can see why,
but they are really pointers to what you feel the "self" is, and what
correlates with you between "body" and "self".

I accept you as a woman, Marsha, and if I later learned that your
body was that of a male, I'd continue to accept Marsha as a woman. I
guess that's where we are different.

With Mark/Julia, I think it demonstrates how physical form has little
to no correlation with self-identity, and that the "selves" of others
we interact with can have value and meaning and reality apart from
the encumbrances of a physiological form.

And really, there is nothing more I can say. Let's just end this, okay?
