[MD] Virtually meaningful?

[Ron]
Why would horse prevent it? Why can't one express their multiple "me"
in differing forms, per your argument there is nothing "wrong" with it.

[Arlo]
What I said was that Horse would likely prevent it "if he suspects
deception". That's a judgment call to be sure. And no, it does not
matter to me one whit to know if "Ron" and "Platt" share the same
corporeal host. Its why I never ask. For my intents and purposes,
they are different. But if I was making the claim that I shared
corporeal existence with the self you know as "Robert Pirsig", Horse
would likely correct this by examining IP signatures, etc. If I
persisted, and Horse felt this claim was distracting to the purposes
of the MOQ, he'd likely turn off my connection.

On the other hand, if Horse found out that "Arlo" is really a self
residing in the corporeal host of a female body, I doubt he would
kick me from the list, or even take it upon himself to "correct" my
presentation to others. But again, this "deception" is a judgment call.

And no, I do not feel there is anything wrong with a multiplicity of
voices or selves being expressed here that share the same corporeal
host. It is a meaningless demarcation to me. Like I said, if I wanted
to mate with someone, and found out the reality of their body is
different than what I had been led to believe, then this would be an
issue that would problematize mating, but it still wouldn't change
how I value the "self" I know here in other ways. What YOU say has
value to me independently of your corporeal host being male or female.
