David, Ian,

Why not just do drugs?  It seems to me that risk-taking means 
_doing/being_ in the face of risks, not by diminishing risk.  I 
decided that smoking marijuana was cheating.  I stopped.  Or maybe 
should only be used on very special ritual occasions.  Drugs or 
virtual games, both seem to be a crutch.  Becoming clear means 
becoming clear, not just an altered personality.  Meditation seems to 
be the correct course of action, but, of course, I can be as lazy as most.
