I talk about what I've experienced, directly and indirectly via people I've
cared (and care) deeply about. Nothing more. I don't speak flippantly, and I've
said nothing here I have not spoken of at length, intimately, with a very close
friend (who I was in love with) who was raped on her way to my house. Indeed,
the rape counselor I've gotten to know (as a friend) I met through that ordeal
when I escort her to and from her counseling. So you can condemn, in the
appalling rhetoric of others, what you don't want to hear as a "cocksucker,
blowhard" or whatever, I could not care less. But if you think I haven't been
there, that I have not sat up for hours and hours for nights watching the
person I love cry and shake and wake up screaming, then you, Ron, can kiss my
ass.
