In Lila Chapter 11 Pirsig said 'There is no quarrel whatsoever between the
Metaphysics of Quality and the Darwinian Theory of Evolution'; despite this
you say you reject the idea that species can evolve into new species,
however you accepted that finches beaks can change to adapt to their
environment; when asked how you think this happens you answered 'Whatever
Darwin said'.  You appear to contradict yourself. Please explain, otherwise
i can only draw the conclusion that you were being deliberately
disingenuous.
