Every time it comes up, I try to defend your right to post here. But frankly
I find your endless posting of Pirsig quotes offensive as I suspect Bob does
as well. You twist his statements into something enormously creepy. Your
misrepresentations of Pirsig are exactly what has often led me to point out
errors in Pirsig's use of terms and grasp of important issues. So while I
will continue to defend your right to speak I have no desire to engage in a
battle of wits with an unarmed man.

Scientifically based eugenics, for example, was a very popular to 
progressives in the early part of the 20th century. It was a useful way to 
assure the evolution of society. Today some scientists support a phoney 
global warming crisis to give progressives more power. After all, most 
funding for science comes from the state.

See above, for glaring and repeated examples of your witlessness. Your
comments on such matters inspire little more than nervous laughter and
embarrassment for you. Engaging you in conversation or trying to show you
how silly this kind of talk is futile, so carry on without me.

Marsha, WillBlake2 and others are right to raise cautionary flags about the 
religion of science.

I know comprehension is too much to ask for, but if you had only read what I
wrote, you would see that I not only agreed with this be spelled out why.
