marsha's post on logos triggered something that came up last night in conv with mum and dad, and which is basically the same idea as aristophanes' lysistrata.

culpability for the horrors of the last few hundred years or so falls at the feet of men, directly. however women are not absolved here; indirectly they too have perpetuated the situation we are seeing reach lemming stage now.

woman is naturally more attuned to the earth, to nature: she is more yin, more receptive. man is relatively less attuned and more prone to analytic extremes, which, divorced from the moderation of natural intuition - feelings - can become pathological, both individually and societally.
but as bill hicks succintly put it, women should 'fuck artists'. or as anais puts it, more delicately, she should favour the sensitive man.

too many women have fucked themselves and helped fuck the planet by marrying and having children with mentally ill/emotionally retarded males. 
too many women have chosen fear (fear of being without financial support) over love (following their heart over their head).

but hey its a salutary lesson. women are now recaliming their role as guardians of the earth and humanity; they are becoming strong again. they need to support *one another*:  a true sisterhood, not a feminist pseaudomasculine reactive stance: a wisdom tradition reclaimed. 

remember it was men that slaughtered millions of you in the name of god and jesus.
