Personally, the funniest thing I've read on this forum so far is Platt and
David arguing over who bob loves best.  Hilarious!  Thought the 'ole Zen Archer
scored a bulls-eye that time.  imho.

The contention of that argument was over those dreadful "acerdimics" and how
they are corrupting the MOQ. DMB being the "evil perfesser", in this case.

My point was only that Pirsig himself has acknowledged DMB's accurate
understanding of his work, saying that when people on the forum "stray", from
what Pirsig has intended, it is DMB who always, patiently, tries to bring them
back into Pirsig's intended meaning.

The other point (again, about those "evil perfessers") is that Pirsig has
supported and stood with Ant, as the heir-apparent to the MOQ. Those
perfessery-types may be the root of all evil, but you can't deny that of ANYONE
here it is THEM (DMB and Ant) who receive support and personal correspondence
from Pirsig, as well as the ongoing acknowledgement that it is THEY whose
arguments accurately represent his works.

That's plain and simple.

So you can jump on that ol' "ooo... evil perfessers and the horrible academy"
bandwagen all you want, but when Pirsig says DMB and Ant represent the accurate
position of his works, I think that speaks for itself.

As for the "zen archer", the only "funny" thing is how Platt misinterprets this
remark. But hey, who would expect more? (Other than evil commie perfessers, of
course)...
