Ian,

Maybe seasonal because I had a first bat visit about a year ago. I had a
guest visiting at the time who helped me remove the little bugger.  This
time, though alone, I was less frightened and managed the task quite
efficiently much to the cats' disappointment.  

Wonder how our patterns of presumption inhibit all sorts of experiences.

Coincidence ... or time of year I guess ... I watched a bat fluttering
around the courtyard behind our apartment yesterday evening, with a
post-sunset backdrop.

What must it be like to hear in colour ?
