[MD] Fire!

Well they have been talking about northern california fires on the national
news, the big one near Davenport which is near Santa Cruz, featured in my
roller coaster metaphysics.
Another was  across the river from us, but crossed last night and I was
curious as to how it did in the night.  Just as I sent my last submission, I
heard the planes, very loud and very close and right over my house.  So I
think I'm going to go investigate.

If my town burned down, it would be a definite dip in my experience.

On the other hand, my lender would be happy, and there would probably be
more work available.  Every down has its up!
