I don't know why she got it into her head.  I think she likes the sound of
the name "awks ferd".  She's a 15 year old teenage girl, for goodness sake.


I will say she seems to have the intellectual capacity and she definitely
has the independence of spirit.  But no real drive or ambition.  Hmmmm...  I
wonder where that comes from.

Now of course there are "true" saints, and then there are the socially
recognized ones; not always a one-to-one correspondence, eh?
