It's a source of constant amusement that those who bemoan the awful 
consequences of psychological manipulation by the dastardly 
corporations hold themselves out to be immune to such tactics, never 
imagining that there are many others, if not the majority,  who are 
likewise unaffected. The notion of exploitable ignorant masses is held by 
those who have a insatiable need to boost their own egos, a congenital 
preoccupation of the liberal mind.
