This is the misconception, Bo. Understood properly, Pirsig's claim that the MOQ is static and therefore different from the Quality (DQ) it talks about doesn't mean that the MOQ is trapped in SOM. I've been trying to explain why that is a misconception. It might be "plain" to you that dynamic=objective and static=subjective but as I see it that is just plain wrong. And I think that a lot of what you say, equating the intellectual level with SOM for example, follows from that misconception. In other words, I think your SOL is an attempt to solve a problem that doesn't exist.
