I'm not sure exactly what you're saying. My point was that the 
Occidental religions, in particular, seem to both reify static 
(exoteric or literal) approaches to "theism" (you don't see many 
fundamentalist Buddhists or "radical Pagans") more so many other 
world mythological traditions, and in doing so are (IMO) guilty to a 
larger degree of confusing the mythologically painted image of god 
with the Void from whose contact with it emminates. Least guilty 
appears (again, IMO) to be Buddhist view. This is not to say there 
have not been esoteric movements within Occidental thought, I've 
already referred to the Gnostics several times, and the Kaballist and 
Sufi traditions would fall into this camp as well (keeping in mind a 
continual spectrum and not a black-white distinction here).

But, to reiterate, my point is that the "god pattern" (as you call 
it) is but one resultant pattern deriving from human experience. And 
as such it is one finger pointing towards the Void. It should not be 
(as it often is) conflated or confused with the Void itself.
