the prophet Ham:
>
>Three facts supported by logic:
>1) That questions can be asked about Quality does not make it God
>or the primary source.
>2) That we cannot directly experience or prove the existence of God
>or Essence does not falsify a primary source.
>3) That one may choose to believe or not believe in a transcendent
>reality proves that man has free choice.
Ron:
These are not facts or even propositions of logic, they are pure opinion.
You have just tipped your hand.
Ham consults the burning bush:
>As I've said before, neither Quality nor Man comes into being by
>its/his own power. Only an uncreated source has the distinction of
>self-sufficiency. Therefore, whether you accept the primary source
>or not, it is illogical to apply the phrase "I am that I am" to a human being.
Ron:
It is illogical to posit That if we cannot directly experience or prove the existence of God
>or Essence it does not falsify a primary source. We also can not directly expereince
or prove the existence of spagetti monsters or lepracauns therefore it does not falsify
their existence. So you may place your Primary source in the company of imaginary
characters of folk lore. With a philophical base of imaginary fantasy, applying
the phrase "I am that I am" to the human expereince is infinitly more logical than your
fantasy source. Ham, what you fail to understand is that when you enter the world
of make believe, logic has no bearing or meaning. I can't take you seriously anymore.
Ham:
>Thanks for allowing me this interruption. As a "third party" here,
>I shall recuse myself from your debate other than to point out such
>inconsistencies as the above.
Ron:
The inconsistencies are about as imaginary as your source.
