It got me thinking, and again back to the topic of "theism" and the fuss I have
been making of it...
To All,
It is interesting to me that while there are at least three words to describe
positions that are somehow opposed or contrary to theism: "atheistic",
"antitheistic" and "agnostic", there is only *one* word for theistic. There is no
word "protheistic" for instance as a word to mean actively supportive or
constructive about theism, (as contrasted to "antitheistic")
Why is that? Why are there no similarly nuanced variations on "theistic"? Does
this not imply "theism" inherently has different layers of meaning, that it can be
understood on different levels, each with a distinct set of "values" to it?
