To add my two cents:
Individualism as defined above describes the intellectual level of the MOQ
that rejects external influence by social patterns such as the "society,
the state, or any other group or institution." Intellect champions
"objectivity," i.e., freedom from political correctness.
That's why I often refer to the intellectual level as the individual level.
A society that supports individualism by providing guaranteed protections
of free speech, private property, free enterprise, etc. is morally
superior to a society that supports collectivism or statism. Multiculturism
allows no such distinction.
