Hi Platt, all,
Platt quoted:
> "There is no quarrel whatsoever between the Metaphysics of Quality and the

> Metaphysics of Quality and the "teleological" theories which insist that
> life has some purpose." (Lila, 11)
Steve:
As I recall, The MOQ supports the idea that evolution has a purpose in
freedom from static patterns rather than conformity to some plan of a
particular static pattern. It opposes teleological theories which
insist that life is evolving toward some specific form or any specific
conception of the good.

Steve
