well, at least there's only one socialist since that
don't get anywhere either due to the "absence of a
concept of indefinite DQ"....

i'd check out what the difference between government and
statism is, dmb, you might get somewhere someday...

and i'd rather not be dumb and starve in about a week or so
without food, seein' how that would just be givin' up...

hehe,
woods

Christoffer gave "a special thanks to Marsha for introducing [him] to Bernie Sanders"

dmb says:
It might interest you to know that Bernie Sanders is the ONLY actual self-described socialist in Congress (And probably the only one in the entire Federal government, despite what you might have heard from the conservatives. And he represents one of the smallest states in the US.
And sadly, "the American Dream" is basically just the dream of material success. Understandably, it held a great deal of appeal for European peasants and impoverished people in general but it's not really all that noble. Its just about avoiding misery in terms of creature comforts. Not that we should take that for granted, but shouldn't we all dare to hope for more than a chicken in every pot? Personally, I'd like to see some pot in every pot. Don't smoke it? Good. I'll trade you. You give me your pot and I'll give you my chickens. Deal?
