explosion.  But the striking of the match plays the same part as
the oxygen-rich room.

Just a word of props here, Craig. I thought your first example was
excellent. The event: rolling snake eyes is a product of the independently
arising probabilities of rolling one and rolling one. 

Above, "fire" results from the independently arising conditions of "presence
of oxygen" and "striking of match." These conditions themselves are the
product of independently arising probabilities of oxygen being found in the
atmosphere and the collection of probabilities that lead to the invention of
"matches" and the evolution of creatures who can strike them. It is all a
nest or "field" of probabilities.
