Subject: Re: [MD] socialism
I think there are and will be socialists with a concept of indefinite DQ. MoQ comes as a corrective to orthodox and so-called revisionist socialist. There are rectification movements in the socialist camp.Socialism without DQ is not socialism. I suggest that Pirsigians be involved in the rectification movement for the sake of the oppressed and exploited peoples of the world, (and these include you and me).
There is no such thing as a free market under Empire and its globalization scheme. Socialist features in the fields of economics, politics and culture (people's cooperatives, community organizations, Basic Ecclesial Communities, pilot primal communties of the Ecumenical Institute-Chicago), for example) are sprouting and threatening anti-people capitalist projects. Rise and see, the Kingdom is near; is among you. When in doubt, turn left.
