Hi Krimel, Platt and all,
[Joe]
I have studied the writings of Thomas Aquinas. At the end of his life he is
reputed to have said: ³What I have written is as straw!² I don¹t know if
this a repudiation of his five proofs for the existence of God, but it
certainly seems to fit.

At the end of his life Aquinas composed the music and words for the
Sequences for the office for Corpus Christi. I have sung the Lauda Sion
many times and it is magnificent. I have a feeling that he climbed to a
different level in himself than when he was explicating the writings of
Aristotle in Christian terms.
